< Translator’s Comments >Translating this work is inevitably just asking myself about the sense of distance from the text. The story is characterized by characters speaking a language borrowed from television games and from social networking sites with their unique secret codes, in which case, it seems, the more or less advanced “adaptation” guidelines become important authorities. The duo of Kadode and Ouran are obviously insane, so you should not nip the insanity in the bud, but neither should you scare the reader for that reason. Theirs is a calm insanity!
< Synposis >It was three years ago that a huge mother spaceship landed in Tokyo. Since then, the sky in Tokyo has been covered in large flying saucers. However, there have been no attacks on the part of the aliens. On the other hand, humans have been fighting back with surprise attacks on small spacecraft that occasionally emerge from inside the large rocket…. Meanwhile, on the earth, two high-school girls, Kadode and Ouran, like many people, are enjoying their youth, paying no heed to the mother ship and the like. However, the three years of peace have blunted human wariness…. Surely, no “invaders” are sneaking into humankind. Eventually, the “invaders” disturb the peaceful days!
