On January 11th (Tues.), 2022, the 25th and 26th award ceremonies of the Konishi Foundation Japanese-French Translated Literature Award (on the Japanese side) were held at the Tokyo Kaikan (in Tokyo).
The spread of COVID-19 infections caused an unavoidably long delay in holding an awards ceremony. Accordingly, the 25th and 26th awards ceremonies were combined into a single ceremony this time. We considered, before anything else, the attendees' peace of mind and safety, and we decided that only persons involved in the ceremony could attend it. However, it was a very warm gathering. It was full of joy in congratulating the prize-winners.
